Fiskens, the world’s leading specialists in fine historic automobiles, has returned to the Mews following the team’s annual sojourn at the Salon Rétromobile in Paris, held earlier this month.
The 1950s was a halcyon era for British sports car racing, with several marques creating a valuable engineering and design legacy for future motorsport endeavours.
With this year’s edition of Salon Rétromobile already in full swing, crowds have been drawn to the Fiskens’ stand to take in two pre-war heroes; 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C Spider by Zagato and the 1932 Bugatti Type 55.
Well-established as a season opener, classic motoring enthusiasts recognise Salon Rétromobile in Paris as the go-to European show of its kind. Fiskens cross the Channel annually to present their latest consignments to the motoring cognoscenti.
February is synonymous with one thing here at Fiskens; the magnificent Salon Rétromobile in Paris. Once again Fiskens have been busy preparing to reveal another stunning selection of consignments at this year’s show from 8-12th February 2017 at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles.
