Following the sale of the magnificent 1930 Bentley Speed Six by Gurney Nutting from the Fiskens stand at Rétromobile, two further Bentleys unveiled at the show - a 1929 Bentley 4.5 litre Saloon by Maythorn and 1929 Bentley Speed Six Le Mans - have returned to the UK Mews and are unbelievably joined by another outstanding vintage Bentley.
Fiskens, the world’s leading specialists in fine historic automobiles, has returned to its London Mews-based home following the team’s annual visit to the Salon Rétromobile in Paris.
Alongside the competition-bred machinery on the Fiskens stand at the Salon Rétromobile this week, the world-leading London-based company is presenting a 1912 Mercer Raceabout, a 1914 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost and a 1931 Bugatti Type 50.
Visitors to the Fiskens stand at the Salon Rétromobile this week have been treated to three important Grand Prix racers from different eras of the sport.
With this year’s edition of Salon Rétromobile already in full swing, attendees have been attracted to the Fiskens’ stand to view a very important car in the development of motor racing aerodynamics, Jaguar E-type Lightweight ‘49 FXN’.
The ultimate season opener, classic motoring enthusiasts recognise Salon Rétromobile in Paris as the go-to international show of its kind. Fiskens cross the Channel every February to present their latest consignments to the motoring cognoscenti.
