Gregor was honoured to be invited to drive two cars on behalf of their owners; the Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar C-Type chassis XKC006 in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy and the ex-Stirling Moss Aston Martin DB4 GT in the Memorial Tophy bearing the late legend's name. In the wonderfully original Jaguar, Gregor improved from his 14th position on the starting grid to place 10th at the finish. Sharing the Aston with fellow Scot' and Indy superstar Dario Franchitti, Gregor brought the DB4 GT home in 9th (the first of the Astons).
Driving Fiskens' 1924 Vauxhall 30/98 Brooklands Special, appropriately as car no.1 in the Brooklands Trophy, Christoff scored a well-earned top-ten after an epic battle with both the Invicta of Alan Brown and the Aston Martin of Robert Blakemore.
Oliver enjoyed his first race in the Cooper T49 'Monaco' in the Sussex Trophy and, alongside co-driver Nick Finburgh, showed great pace before having to retire.
